1. I quit college/university once because I didn't listen to my teacher's advice that for the studies in electrical engineering I should complete an apprenticeship in it first...
Well, now I've finished the apprenticeship and ready for a new attempt starting October.

2. I got drafted for military service in 2003 and got trained as mountain infantry (or mountain trooper or however 'Gebirgsjäger' may be translated)

3. I must admit that during my military time I just wanted to quit the military but now when I look back it was a good time...and they helped me to get rid of some bad habits and replaced them with (at least) some discipline...not much actually
But some discipline was a necscessary evil because if there was someting my platoon leader couldn't stand it was someone who made jokes about everything...and you don't want to upset your platoon leader...nope nope *shivers*

4. My first PC game was 'Die Siedler' (The Settlers) and it came on 7 floppy disks...good times good times

5. For those of you who haven't noticed it yet: I like Orks! Ever since 1994 when I got my Warhammer40k Space Ork army and the first WarCraft game came out I couldn't get enough of the green bullies.
And since then I played every MMROPG that offered the possibility to create an Ork Warrior...you don't need animes to be an Otaku

6. I'm playing LARP...as an ork warrior (oh wow, who would have guessed )

7. I'm lazy! "Don't put off till tomorrow what you can do today" pff, never heard of it...

8. I'm learning japanese for over a year now...no, animes have nothing to do with it!...ok, maybe a little...
